Délidis NV, a wholesaler in fresh vegetables, fruit & meat, needed a fresh new informative website. With implementation to the existing order platform. This breathing one-pager is built from scratch, with a unique design made by Studio Appels. Including handy CMS for adjusting news items and promos. The website also served as an eye-catcher at the Horeca Expo exhibition, where visitors could test the site on a touchscreen.

Technical

This Drupal 8 is built entirely from scratch.

Mooimakers, the former 'Indevuilbak', wants to liberate Flanders from litter and illegal dumping. LDV United called in the help of Sevenedge for the development of an informative website with a webshop, an interactive map and a variety of user profiles. The result is a website that can easily be supplemented and configured yourself.

Technical

For this Drupal 8 web app, I provided the front end for about 80% and the backend for about 20%.

Provamel is the organic brand of Alpro, the European pioneer and market leader for biological drinks and food. Living according to a biological lifestyle means living in a way that is good for yourself and for the environment. Provamel needed a new website that reflects this vision and that could become a gathering place for people who are looking for information about this more conscious lifestyle.

Technical

For this Drupal 7 web app I have provided the front end for about 70% and for about 90% the backend.

Info

Advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi asked Sevenedge to create a gaming experience for their client Cubanisto: the luxury beer brand with the light rum flavor regularly organizes exclusive parties, and wanted to put one of them in the spotlight by giving away free tickets via a simple web game. It became a reaction game: the visitor sees the Cubanisto's skull logo bouncing across the screen, and when the animation stops and the logo turns black, it needs to be clicked or tapped as quickly as possible. The response speed can then be forwarded via a web form, after which the very fastest will receive their invitation.

Technical

For this CakePHP application I mainly provided the game dev. Using PIXI.js that makes OO programming in Javascript very comfortable and efficient. Further technical challenges in this project included the responsiveness of the game (HTML canvas element) with the UI around this, but also the extensive security measures.

Info

AXA launched a campaign to put the AXA omnium car insurance in the spotlight. Sevenedge developed in cooperation with Duval Guillaume 'Reflex Driver': A compelling game that you want to play again and again. The aim of the game is to avoid the obstacles that you encounter during this car ride as quickly as possible. Do you score your bonus points well, if you miss an obstacle you lose a life. The players who ultimately turn out to have the best reflexes can do on a brand new BMW i3.

Technical

For this CakePHP application I mainly provided the game dev. Using PIXI.js that makes OO programming in Javascript very comfortable and efficient. Further technical challenges to this project included the extensive security measures. Furthermore, PIXI.js alone was not enough to generate the pseudo-3D of the road when you veer left / right, for this I used the native 2D context of the HTML canvas element, which boosted the performance even more.

Historium VR city

Info

'Historium and Sevenedge blur the line between virtuality and reality.' This is not just a bold statement but literally the basis of the 'VR City' concept. Thanks to products such as the 'Google Cardboard', virtual reality technology has become much more accessible and more mobile over the past year. We are beginning to gradually become familiar with the image of someone in a chair who is entering a virtual world with VR glasses on his way to distant journeys through time and space. The Virtual Reality Laboratory is such an experience that takes Historium visitors to a virtual version of Bruges from the 15th century. Our challenge, however, was to break this experience out of the walls of the Historium and make it as light and mobile as possible!

Technical

There is no backend attached to this. This is a pure Javascript application. Using Three.js and the Google Cardboard WebVR boilerplate (tweaked), creating this VR expierence became a very cool experience for me. Technical challenge to this project were mainly cross-browser / cross-device limitations.

Belfius Art Collection

Info

The website that Sevenedge opened around the Belfius Art Collection, commissioned by advertising group Saatchi & Saatchi, served two purposes. Firstly, it had to be a repertory in which all works can be viewed online, with expert explanations. But even more important are the possibilities that the site indicates to view the works in question from close up. In the Belfius Tower itself, an exhibition space was set up in 2015, where visitors can visit some of the works on certain days in the month. But there are also about a hundred works on the road, in exhibitions all over the country: the site also had to be able to refer to this.

Technical

For this CakePHP web app, I provided the frontend for about 50% and the backend for about 30%.

Pioneer Cyclo Game

Info

Explain and simplify complex systems for the consumer by means of a video game: it provides clear added value for more and more projects. In order to clarify the functioning of the Pioneer Pedaling Monitor System correctly, we decided that gameplay was the best method. With the Pioneer Cyclo Game to be played directly in the web browser, Sevenedge helped the Japanese electronics giant to show which data its cycling computer registers, and which useful information the cyclist can extract from it.

Technical

For this CakePHP application I mainly provided the game dev. Using PIXI.js that makes OO programming in Javascript very comfortable and efficient. Further technical challenges to this project included the extensive security measures. Furthermore, the path on which the cyclist rides os a SVG path, which is very easy to adjust, so other levels can be implemented very quickly.

What is your excuse? Between 12% and 15% of the travelers on the STIB network, according to surveys, there is no transport ticket. STIB / STIB wants to know why they do this. High time for a sensitization campaign. In the first instance, the Brussels transport company wants to playfully trickle black riders on the palp.

Technical

For this CakePHP 3.x online campaign I have provided the frontend and most backend.

Info

For 365.be, a site that brings together more than 100 day trips to museums and tourist attractions, Sevenedge did the hard work: we designed and programmed the site, which consists of content that can be constantly updated. For example, if a museum organizes themed days, a nature attraction has special guided walks or has planned an amusement park nocturnes or winter openings, this is immediately on the site.

Technical

For this Drupal 7 website I have for about 50% the front end and for about 30% the backend.

Imagine: you no longer know who your friends are, what they look like, or what you did together with them yesterday. It is as if they have suddenly been erased from your memory. And that is still only your Facebook timeline that - intentionally - shows a defect.

Technical

I have completely built this experience. First a website (one-pager) with parallax SVG effects. Furthermore, a Chrome & Firefox browser plugin that takes action on the day of Alzheimer's itself.

Info

Sevenedge has a number of large international brands in its portfolio, but we work with an equally large commitment to SMEs that want to go to their customers as a contemporary brand. A nice example of this is the language agency Mastervoice from Temse, which specializes in translations into foreign languages. Originally, they called on our services to create a new website for them. A responsive site, of course, that presents itself beautifully on all screens, built in the versatile HTML5, and with the core concept of a translation of the services they deliver to a presence on the internet.

Technical

For this Drupal 7 website I mainly offered support in both backend and frontend.
